Donna Krasovec, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), graduated from an accredited PTA program in 1997. Her early work experience was in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Donna transitioned to outpatient orthopedic clinical practice in 2000 treating a variety of general orthopedic conditions including spine and related conditions. Donna also worked in academics for several years as an instructor in a PTA Program in Denver.
Donna has accumulated over 400 hours of continuing education, most of which has been specific to orthopedics. Donna has developed her skills in areas including muscle energy techniques, soft tissue/myofascial mobilization and therapeutic exercises. Donna believes in a strong PT/PTA team approach in the delivery of high-quality physical therapist services. As part of the PT/PTA team, she strives to continually expand her knowledge and skills to individualize treatment and help clients reach their physical therapy goals.
Donna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and she has been active in the Colorado Chapter. She has served two terms as PTA Caucus Representative and has served as Chairperson for the PTA Special Interest Group. Through the APTA, Donna received Recognition of Advanced Proficiency for the PTA in the musculoskeletal category in 2010, was awarded Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant in 2014, and received The Bob Doctor Service Award in 2016.
As a Colorado Native, Donna enjoys exploring the mountains through hiking trails and four-wheel drive roads, usually, with her two dogs.
