Dr. Marcia Clarke PT, DPT, COMT received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She originally graduated with a bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and has been practicing for 22 years with primary emphasis in spine and orthopedics.
Dr. Clarke holds a certification in orthopedic manual therapy with an Australian emphasis from Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Manual Therapy Residency Program in San Francisco as well as dry needling certification.
Dr. Clarke’s professional organization memberships include the American Physical Therapy Association, Colorado Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Clarke is well versed in all aspects of orthopedic physical therapy practice with experience in private practice, work related injuries, spinal dysfunction and auto injuries.
Intervention may include manual therapy, neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, modalities and always a home exercise program. Patient empowerment and education on how to decrease pain, along with, preventing reoccurrence is the key to success with any rehabilitation program.
