Lucas Carr, PT, DPT
Education and Training
Dr. Lucas Carr, PT, DPT, CSCS is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s doctorate of physical therapy program and a proud Wyoming native. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wyoming majoring in Kinesiology while also involving himself in biomechanical research of lower extremity injuries.
After finishing his undergraduate degree, Luke moved to Los Angeles and attained his doctorate degree from USC in May of 2017. During his time at USC, Luke also became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and had the opportunity to work with athletes from high school to the professional level.
Shortly after graduating, Luke relocated to the Phoenix area where he worked closely with first responders and their work related injuries. Luke became dry needling certified in 2018 and will offer his services in May of this year.
Luke has given multiple focus group talks at high school, university, and recreational corporation venues to advocate for the physical therapy profession and spread knowledge of injury prevention.
Luke’s professional interests lie in orthopedic and neurologic injuries. He strives to implement a multi-modal approach with emphasis on hands-on treatment and therapeutic movement in order to help individuals of any age or activity level return to what they love.
In addition to his passion for physical therapy, Luke loves to be outdoors; skiing, backpacking, fishing, and golfing whenever possible.
