Orthotics Evaluation and Prescription

Physical therapists may sometimes recommend the use of orthotics for diagnoses like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis and even sacroiliac joint/low back pain. One quarter of the bones in your body are in your feet and problems with the arches in your feet can cause secondary issues in the lower extremity up to the spine.

Sole Supports are full contact foot orthotics.  They are custom fit to the patient’s feet and they maintain constant contact with the patient’s arch for total support.  Sole Support orthotics work best in athletic type shoes that have a removable insert but can be made to fit in dress shoes and even some heels. Talk with one of our physical therapists today if you are interested in trying orthotics.
